What Actually Happens on Closing Day

Here's the part most buyers don't know: signing isn't the moment you own the home. Once you sign, the lender wires funds, and then Title records the deed with Clark County. That's when it's official, and that's when keys can be released.

Recording usually happens mid to late afternoon. Don't plan for work or movers until the next day.
